Silver Dragon Cub Yaistas

Immagine
Life in the caves beneath the island was easy. The sea brought large, plump fish, providing plenty of food, enough for everyone to eat their fill. After playing and darting between the legs of the older dragons, one could rest and sleep under the sun, perched on the rocks at the mouth of the caves, overlooking the waves. Then the small mammal arrived—one of those living on the island. When he descended the Bronze Staircase into the caves, he was holding a scale of the First Dragon, whom humans call Sirin, the silver lady. As soon as young Fell recited a small prayer, Yaistas heard the voice of the First Dragon—a gentle whisper like waves against the rocks, instructing her to protect the boy and stand by him. Dragons never disobey the Silver Lady, and since Yaistas was a good little dragon, she obeyed. Life became even more interesting after that. The mammal's name was Karaethar, and he was very kind to her. He cuddled her and always fed her, and in return, Yaistas protected him and...

General Thalaron

Immagine
Thalaron is the uncle of the current emperor on his mother's side. He commands the imperial guard, formally a great honour, but an empty title since the guard rarely, if ever, goes into battle. Thalaron was considered a good general, and as a young man he undoubtedly covered himself in glory. Today he is a moderate conservative, who prefers talk over action and believes the empire has surrounded itself with too many enemies. He dislikes the First Princess Lilas because he considers her too erratic and impulsive and far too fond of battle. Thalaron vehemently opposed the sacking of Erettia, stating that this would only make Allanard another mortal enemy. He was unable to prevent it, but by backing the young heir to the throne, Kaethar was at least able to block further excesses.

Karaethar Hereditary Prince of Allanard

Immagine
Karaethar, destined to be the fifteenth of his name, is a young man in his early thirties (equivalent to just under twelve years in Fell age). Bright and intelligent, he shows great promise even at this tender age. Although he idolizes his father and sees him as a role model, Karaethar is more sympathetic towards humans and other short-lived species. He's particularly fascinated by tieflings, drawn to their exotic skin colors and strange horns. This curiosity stems from the mysterious absence of tieflings among elves. On several occasions, much to the chagrin of some old generals, Karaethar has successfully persuaded his father to soften punishments against human kingdoms. Despite his royal status and busy schedule befitting a prince of his precious bloodline, Keraith has few friends. His role as heir to an unbroken line of emperors leaves little room for socializing. To compensate for their inability to nurture him personally, his parents gifted him two tiefling slaves, one mal...

Warrior Princes Lilas

Immagine
Lilas is the eldest of Emperor Aerevar's children, born to his favorite wife, Ianna'Shaalthaas. Far from the stereotype of an elven princess, Lilas is a warrior who relishes the clamor of battle and the chaos of war. Appointed General of the Sea by her father, Lilas is betrothed to Lord Admiral Sathir. While he commands the fleet, it is Lynal who leads the troops ashore and into battle. As intelligent as she is beautiful, Lilas possesses a keen tactical and strategic mind. According to seasoned generals, her military acumen places her among the greatest commanders in imperial history. However, she has one significant flaw: bloodthirst. Lilas isn't evil, per se, and she understands when to retreat or avoid conflict. Unlike her brother Karaethar, though, she shows no compassion for short-lived creatures. In battle, she pursues the enemy's destruction relentlessly. When forced to mitigate the sack of Eretteia due to pressure from her father, who sought to please his son,...

Queen Iannas of house Shaalthaan

Immagine
Iannas Shaalthaan belongs to the ancient and noble clan of the Shaalthaas, one of the most prominent families of Allanard and lords of the island of Yren since time immemorial. As determined as she was ruthless, her love affair with Aerevar began in an unedifying manner. Convinced that her husband was weak and foolish, she tried to kill him in a sort of coup d’état. Aerevar, who at the time was playing the part of the fool to deceive the nobles, was very impressed by his wife’s determination. Instead of punishing her, he proposed to share power. He would retain the real power, but the Queen (her title as the Emperor’s wife) would be his most trusted advisor and handle all social matters with the unruly Elven nobility. Iannas thus became her husband’s right-hand, learning to respect, if not love, him (while Aerevar is very much in love with her). She shares all thoughts and secrets with her husband, becoming a kind of spy chief and minister of the interior. Less inclined to decisi...

Alyrr Capital of Fell Allanard

Immagine
Alyrr is the capital of the 3,000-year-old Fell Anard Empire. As declining as the ancient elven empire may be, not even the mighty Empire of Hayon was able to conquer all of the continent's outposts, let alone defeat it completely. Symbolic of its power and resilience is the city of Alyrr, the empire's capital. Known by many names, "The White City", "The Ivory City", "The City of a Thousand Towers", and other similar monikers, Alyrr has remained unconquered for millennia, and is undoubtedly the richest city on the planet. Should all the other domains of the Empire fall, the city is safe and will continue to be defended by any means necessary. For as long as it takes, should it be necessary to summon dragons. Some travelers from other worlds have likened it to a place called "The Dreaming City", but Alyrr does not dream or sleep, it remains the center of an empire, in truth reduced, but viable.

Aerevar Emperor of Allanard

Immagine
Aerevar XXII is the onehundre and seventy-third emperor of Allanard, heir to an unbroken lineage of rulers spanning some ten thousand years. The first Fell emperors who reigned over the Isle of Kyrian witnessed the emergence of humans and other species from the Stone Age, watching as they slowly advanced to nearly match the Fell's own progress. Aerevar exemplifies the typical Fell attitude towards other races. He views humans as charming pets but doesn't hesitate to deploy his fleets or, more ominously, his Dragons, should they grow too ambitious. The recent dispatch of the Prorin fleet to sack Eretteia, a pirate stronghold of the Rhovanian League, serves as a stark reminder of this policy. The emperor has many wives who have borne him numerous children. His favorite is Queen Iannas of the noble house of Shaalthaan, with whom he shares his innermost thoughts and loves deeply. In Allanard, all the emperor's wives bear the title of queen, but only the mother of the heir holds...

Empire of Fell Allanard

Immagine
The empire of Allanard is ancient, even by elven standards. It was founded by Kyhalaerretyn approximately 10,000 years ago, when humans were little more than savages who had just begun to live in huts made of mud and reeds. Over the centuries, the Fell, the dominant ethnic group of Allanard, created an invincible empire that took control of almost all the lands around the Inner Sea, extending across the three continents that surround it. As it expanded, Allanard encountered other elven powers, leading to incredibly long wars. Little is known about these conflicts. The Stone Archives and the Emerald Tablets of Malukha tell of a terrible event about 5,000 years ago, likely a magical battle between Allanard and its adversary of the time, the empire of Zarihal. The exact details are unclear, but entire kingdoms vanished from the face of Agand, including Zarihal itself. Of others, only names remained, and of some, merely vague memories. Gradually, humans and other short-lived species,...

Here is the Arbiter

Here is the Arbiter. When i'll write in Courier i'll give you information on the blog. I need to catch up on my Deviant page, so I’ll be making several posts a day over the next few days. Some posts will feature images created via AI (unfortunately, drawing isn’t one of my skills). These will mostly depict the characters of my world, as well as the armies and monsters that inhabit it. Other posts will contain text, detailing the history of Agand or elements of its mythology. Finally, some posts will be actual stories involving the characters. These stories will be posted twice: once in Italian, my mother tongue, and once in English to reach a wider audience. Greetings, adventurers!

From Another World

Immagine
You have been chosen. This is a portal to another world. Normally, an Earther wouldn’t feel anything, and you shouldn’t be able to hear my voice—but I sense you’re exceptional. Me? My name isn’t important right now. You can call me “Arbiter,” if you like. Why am I taking you? Well, to be honest, I was sent to retrieve someone else. But I don’t get to choose—I’m bound by the chains of fate. The Fate, seems, chooses you. And now, you’re coming with me. You shall serve in the struggle. What struggle, you ask? What? the only one that matters! The Cosmic Struggle. Don’t worry, things on the other side aren’t much worse than here, and I assure you, they’re far less dull. Welcome to your new home, my friend. Welcome to AGAND ! Agand is only one of countless worlds that occupy the space of creation, but it is a world as special as the world it is close to, a blue world that its inhabitants call Earth. What makes these two worlds special, compared to the countless others? They lie at the ...

A WORLD OF WORLDS:

Immagine
Agand is a personal project of mine—a world created for an RPG campaign that, like many of my creations, has taken on a life of its own. I've been developing this world for many years, and it's something I deeply enjoy. Originally, Agand was designed to be played using D&D, but over time I experimented with other systems, including Fabula Ultima . However, I no longer feel that D&D is the right fit for this setting. The world has evolved far beyond its initial concept, and I believe other systems would be more suitable for those who wish to explore it. My recommendations are Fabula Ultima , as mentioned, or an OSR system of some kind. You'll see that Agand is not a traditional fantasy setting, so many mechanics in typical fantasy games may not be a perfect match. The initial inspiration for Agand came from isekai worlds like Mushoku Tensei , Overlord , and The Rising of the Shield Hero . However, over time, I "westernized" the setting, drawing influence fr...
