Aerevar Emperor of Allanard

Aerevar XXII is the onehundre and seventy-third emperor of Allanard, heir to an unbroken lineage of rulers spanning some ten thousand years. The first Fell emperors who reigned over the Isle of Kyrian witnessed the emergence of humans and other species from the Stone Age, watching as they slowly advanced to nearly match the Fell's own progress.

Aerevar exemplifies the typical Fell attitude towards other races. He views humans as charming pets but doesn't hesitate to deploy his fleets or, more ominously, his Dragons, should they grow too ambitious. The recent dispatch of the Prorin fleet to sack Eretteia, a pirate stronghold of the Rhovanian League, serves as a stark reminder of this policy.

The emperor has many wives who have borne him numerous children. His favorite is Queen Iannas of the noble house of Shaalthaan, with whom he shares his innermost thoughts and loves deeply. In Allanard, all the emperor's wives bear the title of queen, but only the mother of the heir holds the esteemed title of empress.

The current empress, Azandaremias, hails from a noble family. While strikingly beautiful, she lacks in intelligence and charisma. Fortunately for Aerevar and Iannas, Azandaremias remains content as long as her son is destined for the imperial throne.

Prince Karaethar, the emperor's only son among his sixteen children, holds his father in the highest regard, viewing him not just as a mentor but as the epitome of leadership.

As tradition dictates, the emperor leads the prestigious Dragonriders. Aerevar's mount is an imposing silver dragon named Zelartret, rumored to be the oldest of all dragons on the island.
